There can be countless reasons why people change careers or professions. The most obvious is if the salary is nothing to write ‘your neighbour’ about. In this article, we shall be looking at few of these reasons and also how to change careers as well.
The following are five out of multiple reasons why people change career :
LITTLE PAY.
This is the most obvious reason: there is not enough money, but you feel strongly that you can earn more. Though Job sites offer more money for the same skills, you must try not to throw an application on the boss’s desk.
You can courageously talk about raising your salary with your employer and if you do it do it the right way your demand might be met.

If It seems that your work is not needed or appreciated by anyone; clearly neither the company, nor the state, nor the people need you. This is a yellow, signifying ‘ready to go get a new career’.
Many a times technological advancements can make one’s work seem pointless, it will be smart of you to quickly notice this and start to make your move to leave to a place where you would be use-full.
Like the sea can drown someone and fire consume, a company that promised career growth can frustrate you if they do not fulfill their promises. If they promised you promotion, higher pay, education and training, yet you see none of these juices, you should run.
If you remain, you might suffocate and remain at the lowest rung of your profession.
Imagine working for several years and bringing into the company millions as profit, yet there is still no promotion. Run while you still have legs.
If your personal life is severely injured by the work you do, there is only one way to gain happiness and sanity. If at work, you have to suffer under your clients, a rude boss and still bear the brunt of being unpaid overtime. It is nearly impossible to concentrate on one’s duties in such an environment or atmosphere.
Note : you need a break from such unhealthy atmosphere and during that time, think extensively whether it is worth returning or whether it is better to change your profession.
