Enrolling for the PMP computer-based testing (CBT) or paper-based exam can be a daunting exercise without the right guide. This is why we have come up with the following steps to help as a guide for you to enrol for your PMP computer-based testing or paper-based exam in a seamless manner.
You are required to present one form of valid (non-expired), government-issued, photo- and signature-bearing ID in order to test. Please note that your primary ID does not contain a signature or photo, you will be required to present a secondary ID containing those.

You are advised to arrive at your test center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in procedures. Candidates who are late for the exam will not be allowed to take the exam.
For paper-based exam
You can reschedule your exam on/before 30 days to the date of the exam you apply for. Outside this period you might not be able to reschedule unless you can provide a serious reason for this.
For PMP computer-based testing
If you need to reschedule or cancel your exam, you must call the registration center, or visit www.prometric.com/pmi click the “Get Started” corresponding to the appropriate exam and follow the directions on the site necessary to reschedule or cancel your exam.
Rescheduling or canceling submissions through the online Contact Us form available at www.prometric.com is not a valid method to request an appointment reschedule or cancellation.
You can reschedule or cancel your exam at any time, as long as you do so more than two full calendar days(EST) before your scheduled exam appointment. However, a US $70fee will be charged to you if you reschedule or cancel your exam within 30 days of the scheduled appointment. If you wait until you are within two calendar days of your exam appointment you will forfeit the entire exam fee.
You are encouraged to reschedule or cancel your exam as soon as you know you won’t be able to make the appointment and as early as possible. For situations in which you have a personal or medical emergency, the Extenuating Circumstance Policy may apply. Please review your respective handbook for details on changes to your scheduled exam appointment. You must apply to Project Management Institute each time you wish to retest.
